Have you tried to spray it with a ';decent amount'; of hair spray when it's dry? Then use a smaller diameter curling iron on it to make the curls tighter, so when it does ';relax'; some it won't go as straight as quickly. I've done this to my own hair when I wanted my curl to last longer when I knew I was going out for awhile but didn't want my hair to go ';flat'; by the end of the evening. It's worth a try if you haven't tried this yet. P.S. YES, %26amp; I too am human, I KNOW of only ONE who isn't...He's the ONLY ONE I have to please...:)Curling my 6 year old's fine hair?

French-braid it while it is wet and let her sleep in it. Then, take the braids out.
I have fine hair, too, and I have found it very easy to manipulate. Shouldn't fine (therefore, thin) strands be easier to manipulate?
I've never seen a 6-year-old try curling before. Seems like the rock would be too heavy for them. And they might have trouble sweeping too.
I recommend you leave that poor kid's hair alone.
um, try doing the corn-row french-braids.
Make very small braids, and this will take u awhile, so u need to have a water-bottle filled with water, for misting.
Use the baby rubber bands that don't tangle, U know the ones.
Wash her hair and condition it.
Have you tried usinf a curling shampoo and conditioner?
Aussie ( in the purple bottles) make them.
Ok, after washing and conditioning, while it is wet braid her hair in corn-rows,then let dry.
Let her sleep on it and then in the morning, take them out, and viola!
Wavy hair.
