How come hot rollers didn't work for me? 10pts!?

I just heated up my new conair ion shine jumbo rollers. I rolled them up and under. I left them in for about 10-15 minutes. I added hair spray while were still in. I took them out and was hoping that they had kind of a loose curl throughout my whole hair (kind of like a spiral similar to what Vanessa Hudgens has), but it curled only the bottom. what did I do wrong? What should I do to make the curls spiral and cute? the points go to the person with the most helpful and detailed answer. Thanks for answering!How come hot rollers didn't work for me? 10pts!?
You can still use the rollers, just use a curling iron on a few strands starting at the roots to give hair more volume and curls.How come hot rollers didn't work for me? 10pts!?
idk, some peoples' hair just doesn't curl. same thing happened to my friend, it refuses to cooperate, lol
It could be that hot rollers dont work for your kind of hair or maybe they were not hot enough.
well my hair is naurally like that but id suggest a curling iron get one from sally's or go online and see the ones that are recommended then do it in small portions and spray hairspray on it while you have the curling iron on your hair i did it when i over straightened my hair cos i hate when its super striaght with no curls
if you want a spiral curl the best thing to do is to get a spiral curling iron.

Well it might be because your hair is too straight. When your hair is too straight the curlers will not work. I would suggest a curling iron. They tend to work better and gives you sexier curls. (like Vanessa Hudgens).

When you use the curling iron, wrap 1 to 1 1/2 inch pieces of hair around the iron leave it for about 10 sec. and pull the iron down.%26gt;%26gt;%26gt;%26gt;Hope this helps!! :]
I would try not rolling them up but wrapping them, Hold your hair out and then wind the hair on the roller from the top to the bottom instead of the bottom to the top...works for me and I have horribly fine hair...also use a mousse in it before you roll it(mousse, then dry, then wind)..if you have fine hair like me. :)
