What shoes/Hair with my dress?

Saturday, I'm goign to a wedding. The dress I'm going to wear is an off-white dress with gold sashing around the empire waist and hem. It's covered in 1.5-2 inch circles made out of gold threading and is spaghetti strap. What shoes do I wear? I wore the same dress to a school concert with brown heels, but I also wore a brown shrug over it (we can't wear tank tops to school/functions) Would brown shoes still look okay? I don't think so, but my mom does. I'm really nervous abotu this wedding because my mom brags about me all the time to her boss abot how smart and fashionable and fun I am. If I mess this up, It would turn out not good!

Also, how should I do my hair? My hair is brown, medium-thick, 2.5 inches longer than shoulder length, and naturally curly, only not the good kind. Normally I straighten and side part it. I have swoop/side bangs. It's a summer wedding so up or down wold be fine. My hair won't hold a curl (from curling iron/hot rollers) for more than bout 5 minutes. HELP!What shoes/Hair with my dress?
What about gold shoes... I've seen a lot of really cute ones, find a strappy gold pair and get a really nice (summery light pink) pedicure. Make sure the shoes are strappy if you do get a pair, that way they aren't TOO gold (so they won't look too bold or too tacky). Any bracelets to go with your outfit? I would top it off with some thin feminine looking bracelets (gold-ish). As for your hair, you can leave it down and just try to put a nice clip on there for decorative reasons... or you can put it up in a simple elegant pony tail (try the glitter sprays if the wedding party will be out in the sun at all)... otherwise google formal hair do...

you should wear ur hair half up and curled with a ribbon similar to the sash on the dress and you should wear gold strappy heals hope this helps
I think maybe gold ballet flats for gold flat dressy flip-flops would look great with the dress. You should maybe straighten all of your hair because it would look good with your outfit and if you dont straighten it then you should just leave it down in some way.

i would suggest that if you have some off white dress flip flops with a small heel and the color matches the dress thoses. or a dress sandle.

hair- you could straighten your hair and leave out bangs. then put into a nice elegant messy bun. you could dress it up with a head band or some dimond things
Well I dont think the brown heels will look bad but you should probably gt something flashy like gold heels...as for your hair Ive been there done that my hair is a lot how you describe yours. Straightening it wont look bad or round bush it for more volume
Are these shoes like dark brown or do they look more like a tan? If you're going to a wear off-white w/ gold acents dress I would try for neutral colored (almost skin tone) shoes.

I would keep your hair straight %26amp; simple with your cute side bang.

My hair is the same way!! But i figured out a good way to curl it....



1. Leave it how it is normally curled

2. Get a small curling iron and curl small sections of hair.

3. DO NOT USE HAIRSPRAY YET!!

4. Let it cool so do your makeup or get dressed or something for 5-10 minutes or as long as you want.

5. After its cooled put your head upside down and shake out to get all the curls loose.

6. The use hairspray and spray it lightly all around. Curl anything you thing still needs curling.



It doesn't take long at all but looks super cute!!! Good luck!!



And if you have goldish or yellowish shoes then wear those!! But if not then brown will look fine.

i agree with katie.

don't wear white to a wedding. that color is for the bride only. even if it is an off white you will most likely stand out because everyone is going to be wearing bright colors. I'd really think about this off-white decisions before you make it.

If you do decide to (which i hope you dont) don't go with brown shoes. Keep in mind that your shoes dont even have to match but you want a color that will pop. For instance, whenever i think i'm wearing too much black and always throw in a red heel. It gives the outfit some pizzaz! If you know what i mean.

Gold strappy high heeled sandals and an updo, but nothing fussy, more of the messy bun look.

Gold high heels are a good thing to have in the closet anyway to dress up the proverbial LBD. Maybe add some color in the accessories, like a teal blue necklace and handbag.
well once u have the gold sashing and threading, ideally the shoes should also be gold... however if you don;t feel like splashing money on new shoes, well i guess brown wouldnt be too bad
