How do you curl hair without a curling iron or hot rollers?

I'm trying to make a 1940s hairstyle (victory rolls) for Halloween, but I need to know how to curl my hair without a curling iron or hot rollers. My hair can be straight or wavy, but I'd prefer not to have to try really hard with scrunching and all of that. I don't have a working curling iron, and I'm not willing to spend a lot of money on hot rollers. Any suggestions? How do you curl hair without a curling iron or hot rollers?
Put some mousse on your wet or damp hair and scrunch it to your desired curls. Then, blow dry your hair on a low setting or with a diffuser. Spray a whole bunch of hair spray on your hair when you are done and wa la!

Option 2:

Blow dry your hair in sections with a round brush. Roll each section up into the round brush and blow dry on a high heat. Once again, spray a bunch of hair spray on there and wa laa!How do you curl hair without a curling iron or hot rollers?
when i was younger, my curling iron quit. i took hair spray and a pen and a blow dryer... then blow dried my hair that way. it actually worked. that was the early nineties though and i was still coming down fromt he big hair 80's thing... lol... also try going to bed with rags tied into damp hair i hear that used to work in the older days
Damp your hair, grab a amount that you would use with rollers. Wrap a piece of toilet tissue around the end, then roll it to look like a cooked boiled shrimp. Pen it with a boddy pins. In the old days women would roll their hair with strips of fabric, but I am not sure how they did that. But the boddy pins work well, just let it dry and they will make ringlet after you unpin them .
You can get one of those super thin 1-inch thick blowdrying brushes, but that would take a really long time. I do suggest you at least get rollers. There are some rollers that can be used without heat, you sleep with them in your hair.

;)
You can braid your hair and then let it out in the morning.Or you can buy rollers that snap in place and add leave in conditioner to both methods.
braid your hair and leave it on for alongg time.

but i guess that would create waves..
