How can i make my curls last?

so my hair isnt staraight nor curly.

more like frizzy and wavy.

something that really worked on me was washing my hair

at night and applying mousse, let it dry and go to sleep

and once waking up i would start curling it with the curling iron.

i would also apply hairspray but my hair would end up

hard and crunchy. if u kno wat i mean.

and it would only last like 3hrs=/

i want my curls to last through out my

whole day like at least in school.

8am-3pm=]

i was thinking about maybe putting on my hot rollers at night once my hair

dries but would that work?

plz help!=]

i dont use gel nor wax at all on my hair.

shampoo%26amp;%26amp;conditioner-aussie=]How can i make my curls last?
The only thing that worked for me to get curls to last was on my wet hair, apply mousse, blow dry, and then curl with a iron or hot rollers, and then spray with a ';flexible'; hold hairspray- then they had the hold but not the crunch!

Alternatively they sell these things called ';soft curlers'; or ';pillow curlers'; apply to only slightly damp hair (not too wet, or it won't dry) and sleep in them overnight and then take out, shake curls out, and hair spray

I've bought mine at a rite aid or cvs but avon sells them too

well if you curl your hair do NOT but to much hair spray on it doesn't look natural, but I would defiantly try hot rollers. Don't use to much hair product though!
Choose a hairstyle suits you better, based on your face shape, or some occasions.

Use a good hair product like ghd hair styler, straightener, which makes it last longer, even without using hairspray.

Here's some hairstyles showing by step-by-steps, you can take for referrence

Roll your hair at night when it is wet on plastic rollers. There are also flexible rollers that for sleeping on that you can get at the beauty supply store.

If you want to get the nice looking, modern pretty styles that you see around now, wet set your hair using either velcro or the plastic type of rollers. You can also style your hair in different ways, plus its better for your hair and the curls hold better and last a long time

They have many hairstyle tips such as Bob hairstyle,Celebrity hairstyle,Trendy hairstyle, Curly hairstyle etc with search support for you to find best tips which i think may help you. They'll probably have what you're looking for there.

so' have a look:-

How to get these curls?

I absolutely loved Katie Cassidy's hair at the Grammys (minus the headband)

But I was wondering how she created that effect with her hair. When I use a regular curling iron, the curls come out looking very spirally, and when I use hot rollers, the top of my hair is straight while the bottom is curly. However, in this picture her hair is curly also at the root of it as well and the curls look more natural, not spirally.

Does anyone have any tips or advice on how to get my hair looking like Katie Cassidy's here? How to get these curls?
ummm if you have a flat iron..some people use it to create longer stringy curls like i do...but it also depends on the type of hair you have...when you use the flat iron jus twist in a spiral and pull down(softly though)...ummm some people have ';sensitive hair'; and flat irons are two hot..but idk...after jus spary with hair spar...(treseme spray holds the hardess..the green kind)

hop ethat helps a little

=)How to get these curls?
For the best long lasting curls, either velcro or plastic rollers work the best and will give you wonderful hair. I find that rolling my hair at night and taking them out in the morning works way faster than using a curling iron, too. Also, its much better for your hair. I use the soft, rubber type of Velcro rollers too make sleeping more comfortable.

I'm not sure if it will work on such thick braids, but if you use those curlers, you need to:

1) thoroughly wet your hair (like when washing)

2) towel dry as much as possible

3) possible put some gel in it so i will hold the curl better

4) put in curlers -- pulling a little as you wind

5) let dry thoroughly, by leaving them in as long as possible, definitely overnight (maybe longer)

6) when removing the curlers, if you get the curl then put a little more gel in your hair to help keep the curls

Have you tried curling irons? I'm not sure if that would help on such thick braids either, but you could try that.

How do I get these curls?

I have fairly long hair and love to curl it, usually with my ghds, but can never seem to accomplish the type of curl I'd like. I've tried using hot rollers but regardless of how long I leave them in, the curls don't last for long. I love Stacey Soloman's curls in the pic enclosed. She seems to have more of a wave than a curl. What does she use/do to get these curls?

http://xfactor-updates.com/wp-content/up鈥?/a>How do I get these curls?
maybe try one of those 3 barrel iron they have out there. it has 3 barrels and you work your hair through them try that maybe you will get those curls, another thing is you could braid it and see how it comes out. you might need really tight braids and leave them overnight, also it might not work if you have frizzy hair.

good luck! How do I get these curls?
If you have straight hair, after you take a shower, and your hair is damp, braid your hair so it doesn't fall out, but not to tight, id probably make two braids dont take out your braids till you wake up the next day, i would suggest putting some hairspray on before you take out the braids and just letting it it stay fr a few minutes then undoing them. CHEERS!!!!
get an Andrew Barton i love curls curler it'll help trust i got one and its gud!

i would think if you were to moose it and then curling iron it and then give it a little bit of a blow drier effect How can you get loose curls like...?
i donno
hmm..

i would try a large curling iron with a volumizing cream for the roots.

but dont curl all the hair, only the bottom/middle.

hope i helped a little!
Maybe get it wet, put in mousse, then comb it all the way through, then put it in two braids. In the morning blow completely dry with a hair dryer.

How do I keep the ends of my kinky twists from unraveling? Do I burn them or dip them?

I finally got my kinky twist put in and they really aren't unraveling yet but, I want to go home today and curl the ends. What's the best way of going about this. I usually just roll the ends of regular yaky hair with rods for permanent waves, dip them in hot water and let them dry with the rollers in. Is this advisable for the kinky hair? Please help.!!! Or do I burn the ends, roll them and sit under a hooded dryer? How do I keep the ends of my kinky twists from unraveling? Do I burn them or dip them?
You could try some locking gel or wax. That's what you would use on dread locks. Try some on the ends twist it and sit under the dryer for a few minutes. You could burn the ends if you want to. I personally don't like the way it smells when the ends are burnedHow do I keep the ends of my kinky twists from unraveling? Do I burn them or dip them?

well it depends if the hair is synthetic, human, yaki, or whatever... you never really specified.... i would suggest you go back to your stylist and ask before you cause a really bad accident!
if you use synthetic...dip in hot boiling hot water.
Burn it..Thats what my gurls do with their hair...Burn it off..
Yeah, dip it in hot, boiling water, but i wouldn't let it stay in too long because the color will come out of the weave. you should make sure you rod the hair before you dip it in the water though. don't burn yourself.

    Thanks!Should I get a bodywave?
Hey Stephanie, the photo is not showing up for me (is it the cover from Seventeen?), but I'm actually a rep for the cosmetic and fashion company that Lauren Conrad is the spokesperson for: mark. Have you heard of it? Mark has a line of hair products called ';Curl Goddess'; which will help you achieve the curls and body you crave.

I suggest you use some mark Curl Goddess Styling Cream in your hair, section it and then use a large barrel curling iron. Wrap your hair around the curling iron then clamp it for 10 seconds.

If you want natural waves use a bit of mark Curl Goddess Curling Mist With Conditioning Sunflower and braid your hair. Take braids out after two hours and run your fingers through it.

    Loose waves (:?

I have very thin hair, and i want to have those loose waves that all the celebertys have, how do you do it? with a curling iron or hot rollers? HELP!Loose waves (:?
The easiest way to do it for thin hair is to put it in rollers the night before, and sleep with them in. Uncomfortable, but it works. The next morning take the rollers out and comb (with a wide tooth comb) some shine serum through. Use your hands to loosen the curls, and give yourself a couple blasts of cold air from your hairdryer. The curls will naturally loosen as the day goes on... because thin hair does not like to hold it... but it should last at least through your school/work day.Loose waves (:?
    rollers
waves or curls???? if waves then u could get a 3 barell hair waver
    try a curling iron
remember that a lot of celebs wear extensions, so it is not all natural. if you have real thin hair, consider cutting it short. you can work in tons of volume then.
i wouldn't use curler or rollers. They damange your hair, trust me, i know, but most people don't care if their hair becomes damaged, they just want what they can get. So make the right choice. I'd say Scruching, heres a website you can look at.

How to get my son's curls to stay in?

My son has long blond hair about 6 in below his shoulders with highlights. He uses hot rollers daily for work but most of his curl is out by the end of the day. He works in a city very windy and must go out several times a day. Would like advice on ways to help his curl stay in or even ideals on hairstyles to try that don't involve cutting his hair. I think a perm is out of the question for him because of his highlights. How to get my son's curls to stay in?

is this a joke? its not your hair!

    What are perms like nowadays?

My hair is long, very straight, and I've been told by stylists that I have a lot but it's fine. I have to heat style it in order for it to look smooth and orderly, otherwise the hairs go in all different directions. I'm so tired of heat styling it and really I'd like it to be wavy/curly as soon as I wake up in the morning, but curling it to create that effect with a curling iron takes too much time and I can't seem to figure out hot rollers...so I'm either gonna cut it off and get a short bob haircut which might give my hair more shape and be less of a hassle to take care of or get a perm so I don't have to curl it all the time. Which do you recommend? What are perms like these days? What kinds are there, how long do they last, are they gentle on the hair, how do they grow out, and about what should I expect for cost? Or should I just get the bob and forget about having glorious waves? What are perms like nowadays?
1st u have to decide what u want , bob style or perm.

then for all the questions on perm, just walk into a salon and let them see ur hair 1st. then ask them all the questions related to the perm. they r the best in giving u a true opinionWhat are perms like nowadays?

Just moved to a dorm, should I be embarrassed by my at-home habits?

I'm a VERY social person, as is my roommate, and while I don't care if my girl friends see me doing ';at home'; things, I'm embarrassed about guys seeing them! Plus, we have friends all through our building, and guys are always just banging on the door and hanging out with us in our room.

For example, the ONLY way my hair will curl is if I put it in hot rollers (so I look like a grandma) while it's damp. So the other day, I had my curlers in and these two guys banged on our door and I bolted to the bathroom to rip the curlers out before they saw me. Not only did I not get my proper curls, I looked stupid rushing into the bathroom!

I also wear contacts during the day, but glasses before bed (which I'm embarrassed about), I want to work out at the gym in our dorm (but I don't want people I know to see me sweaty and ugly), and I don't want guys to see me without makeup.

Questions: Should I be embarrassed of these things? If you're a guy and you saw me like any of the above, would you be turned off? and finally, if I shouldn't be embarrassed, how do I get over my self-conscienceness about it?Just moved to a dorm, should I be embarrassed by my at-home habits?
Probably the guys worth your time would not be put off by simply seeing you in curlers, glasses, and without makeup. It's no big deal. I would draw the line at using the bathroom with the door open though. That's nobody's business. You'd definitely look worse rushing to the bathroom to pull the curlers. And sweaty from the gym is probably a turn on. Just mention that you're fixing to go get out of these clothes and take a hot shower. It puts the proper mental image in their heads, get it? Confidence in yourself attract they guys you'll want.

Be comfortable in your own skin. That's the biggest turn on. I'm a guy, and that's my opinion. Good luck!Just moved to a dorm, should I be embarrassed by my at-home habits?
Its only cosmetics don't let that rule your inner beauty. You are beautiful. I don't know about other guys but I see way pass that. Do your thing girl.
HELL NO! YOU SHOULD NOT BE EMBARRASSED AT ALL!

love yourself for how you look regardless..

THAT WILL ALWAYS BE HOW YOU LOOK FOREVER, make up is temporary. beauty is temporary. it's what's INSIDE THAT MATTERS.

plus, guys like girls with not a lot of make up. only the dumb ones like girls with cake faces.

You're going to have to blow dry your hair straight.... I would try some straightening product but not too much. If you make it too greasy it won't hold any curl. After it's dried straight I would straighten the roots of your hair with the straightener, and then use the curling iron to make big spiral curls at the bottom like you want. Make sure you have a big barreled curling iron, or you will just give yourself little curls like you already have. Once you are done curling, pull on the curls a little to loosen them and make them big, and then spray away to hold them in place. LONG PROCESS, GOOD LUCK :)
You first have to straiten it the curl it with the curling iron!

Ad if you don't mind answering my Question:http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;鈥?/a>
    first, straighten your hair

you can really only achieve this look if you have a wide-barrel curling iron

so you curl pieces in a spiral along the iron and spray them with hairspray.

then you'll want to shake out the curls a little and spray volumizing spray or more hairspray all over

be careful not to over do it though.

    hope i helped
I had my hair curled like that when I went to a salon... first you take a curling iron then you take large portions of hair and you make really tight ringlets with it.. then when your hair is in about 5 or 6 seperate ringlets you comb through them with your fingers and VOILA! hope it works as well as mine did :D
    hmm..

your probably going to have to straighten it and then curl it. I'd recommend curling it with a straightener.

here's a tutorial that shows you how.

just make sure you use some type of heat protectant as it can be very damaging to your hair. good luck !
If you straighten your hair, use a lot of holding product, and take a curling iron on the ends it would look much softer. For the body rollers- and layers make a big difference.
You have to wash it carefully, and i guess you have to use conditioner. I'm not really sure! sorry!
get Super Sexy spray by Beyond the Zone it works miracles

i myself have mufasa hair and it gives me beautiful curly hair thats not stiff or crazy!

How to get Blake Lively's wavy hair?

How can I get her soft, loose waves but still have them hold? I have long (but not as long as hers) and thick hair. When I scrunch it it just gets frizzy with crazy (unflattering) volume. So I'd like to straighten it and use a hot tool to get it that way. Should I use a curling iron? If so what size and how? Hot rollers? Or a 3 barrel waver? How to get Blake Lively's wavy hair?
I have hair similar to Blake's and the best advice I can give you is this. Braid your hair into three braids, one on each side and one in the back. Then use a hair straightener to go over the braids. This seals in the waves. You may want to spray the braids with a heat protector first to protect against drying out or frizzing your hair.

After a little while undo the braids, spray with a beach wave spray (like John Frieda 'By the Sea' or Fekkai 'Summer Hair Beach Waves'...you can also find some at a local drugstore if you want a cheap one.)

Gently tossle your hair. Don't scrunch because it will cause frizz. Spray with a little hairspray.

Everyone's hair is different but this technique tends to work well on all my friends and myself. Good luck! Hope this advice helps!

Wondering about different types of perms...?

My hair is down to my waist and stick straight. I love how it looks when it's curled in hot rollers or with a curling iron, but it doesn't stay curled long, even with hairspray.

I am wondering if a perm or body wave would look pretty. I don't want a head full of poodle curls or anything, but I am not sure of the difference between a body wave, a perm, or a spiral.

I especially like the princess hair look- like Drew Barrymore's in Ever After.

If anyone can shed light on this, especially with links to pictures, I would appreciate it! Or in the least suggest some sort of product to help it stay curled when I want.

Thanks!Wondering about different types of perms...?
I had hair that long and I went and got a spiral perm put into it, it was a few years ago so sorry i dont have pictures, but everyone i mean EVERYONE loved my hair that way.... only down side is that i had to use alot of product almost everyday to keep it looking well, but it took me like 10 minutes to do my hair i just threw the gel or what not and let it dry, I dont remember what size roller she used but i think*** she used purple and teal (there color coded to size) but go and talk to your stylist, its gonig to take about 3 hours all together for her to roll all that hair, bring a book or make sure the stylist is someone you could have a long conversation with, also i would ask to talk to the manager of the place, they normally have more experiance, plus you can take your own picture in of what you like and say i want this how do you think i could get it, go to a few differnt places and see what they all say, who seems the most knowledgeable (not the cheapest) go to them.... but yessssss long hair looks sooooo good permed! Good luck!!!Wondering about different types of perms...?

But I was wondering how she created that effect with her hair. When I use a regular curling iron, the curls come out looking very spirally, and when I use hot rollers, the top of my hair is straight while the bottom is curly. However, in this picture her hair is curly also at the root of it as well and the curls look more natural, not spirally.

Does anyone have any tips or advice on how to get my hair looking like Katie Cassidy's here?

    Thank you!!

How to style thick, Pakistani hair after showering? - I prefer air drying?

I have very thick Pakistani hair, about 4 in. past my shoulder. I hate blowdrying, so this means I can't straighten my hair till the next day (when its dry). I'm tired of scrunching my hair with gel everyday because its so high school, im more mature than that now lol.

This is what i want: naturally, air dry my hair and have it look good and movable!

I've tried all sorts of serums and creams! However, my hair always looks frizzy and doesnt really move. I was thinking about hot rollers but am not sure if that will solve my problem. I'd love soft curls b/c i think my hair could make it work but I would like some advice before committing! Thank you for any answers. How to style thick, Pakistani hair after showering? - I prefer air drying?
Well, I would try applying some leave in hair conditioner and it should reduce your frizz.

I have use pomeade on my hair and it reduces the frizziness.

My hair is very thick too, I brush it, and then kind of swing it through the air, up over one side of my head to the other, and I do that 50 times, then i lean forward and flip it over my head 20 times, then I let it airdry. Only takes about an hour once you get the hairs separated.

OMFG my hair is like that too i need help too

    LMFAO : )
Hot rollers are good for soft curls, but I think they work better if your hair is already dry. You can blow dry it, don't give up yet, I have the same problem, and it doesn't limit itself to pakistani hair! Buy some Biosilk at your local salon, thoroughly drench your wet hair in it, then blow dry. Straighten with ceramic iron. This is important if you want straight hair. Chi irons are really really good. They are expensive, but totally worth it. Don't buy one of the cheap ones. You get what you pay for. You can follow up this straightening proceedure with hot rollers, or a 1 1/2 inch curling iron. To add soft curls. Also, after your hair is dry (after blow drying) add a little more biosilk before heat styling. This will help it stay smooth without flyaways. You can also use any flyaway cream. John Frieda has some good ones. But don't mistake his hair serum for being as good as biosilk. Because it isn't!! Follow these tips and you'll have beautiful hair in no time!

What to do with stubborn hair?

My hair is pretty much hopeless. It's a little longer than collar bone-length, very dark brown, and completely bipolar. It's un-styleable! It's somewhere between straight and wavy, somewhere between thin and thick, and there's so much of it it's driving me crazy! Especially because my roots are lifeless and flat, creating really ugly contrast with the constantly flippy ends. You see, I'm just fed up with it. However, along with my hair being naturally terrible I have no clue how to use products or tools to make it better, and any advice I've gotten so far has yet to actually work.

I'd like to find a quick method, product, or both that can bring out the waviness and volume in my hair a little bit, or do something a tiny bit more impactful like loose curls to cover up the dreaded flips at the ends of my hair. I've been experimenting with hot rollers, irons, and styling mousses, but my hair absolutely refuses to hold any style unless it involves 2 hours' worth of damaging heat and enough hairspray to make it hard as a helmet. It would be great to have an idea of a routine I can fathomably do every single day, with minimal time and damage and that shows actual results.

Any suggestions??What to do with stubborn hair?

You need BIG heated curlers, and a curling iron.

Spray some hair spray in your curls, before you roll them. Something that's light and won't make the hair stiff!

Put the rollers in about half way, not all the way or it's going to get really big at the the top. Also they are loose, don't roll them to tight or your going to get spirals.

You the the first image of Miley her curls start mid way.

Then you leave them in for a while take one out and test it. If the curls are the shape you want then their done. If not just roll it back up.

Once all your rollers are out, take the curling iron and touch up a few piece here and there. DON'T COMB THE HAIR, just finger it.

Finish with a good light spray and your done :)

Depending on your hair texture you might have/want to straighting your hair prior to the hot rollers.

Good luck, and practice makes perfect when it comes to hair and makeup.
get GOOD curlers and leave then in for a LONG time
use a curling iron, hot rollers or flat iron but put hair spray that way the curls hold though out the day.

  • Quickest way to get waves/curls?

I have long thick black hair. It's almost down to the middle of my back. Its straight but can be a little bit wavy at times. I want to know the best and quick way to get curls and wavy hair. For some reason I hate curling irons AND I suck at curling my own hair with one. I can curl other peoples but not mine.

And I should add that when I get my hair curled with a curling iron by my girlfriend my curls stay for days and days if I dont wash my hair. My curls have stayed in my hair for up to 5 days. I just want to know how to get my hair curly or wavy on my own. So I dont have to keep counting on her to do my hair everytime we go out.

I got those velcro rollers but I got them way to big so they dont curl or wave my hair at all. I thought about getting those hot rollers. Or is there any other suggestions out there from you thick haired straight headed girls? :)Quickest way to get waves/curls?
I dont like to burn my hair, i like the nice shine it has to it. So i just do the cheap version of wavy hair and it looks just as great as the curling iron. Sometimes i'll braid my hair in the night, add a little mousse to it, so in the morning i take out the braids and my hair is already wavy. Also, i curl my hair without a curling iron, my hair is really straight and hard to curl with an iron, so i cut a shirt into hot dog size pieces and get a paper bag and cut pieces that can go around the piece of shirt. Then you wrap the paper on the pieces of shirt (~-~) It should have two pieces hanging out so that when you try wraping your hair like if you have rollers, you tie the ends. Its really simple, make as many pieces as your hair needs, leave it over night. and the curls last all day! I PROMISEQuickest way to get waves/curls?
Well, i have short hair and this worked for me so it would definently would work for you. Braid you hair over night and sleep with braids on. After some time in the morning, unroll the braids and your hair will be as curly as can be! Just try it!
    you can get a perm?
try the spongy curls that you put in your hair after the shower and keep them there before they dry. or put it in a bun the night before, while its still wet. other than that, i think you are going to have to use a little heat-like from hot curls
when yur done taking a shower put like curly gel in yur hair and make yur hair into a bun. wake up the next say and take it out. thats wht i do. and scrunch it sum more.
OK so I am going to give you a few tips I have long think hair and I am very versatile with my hair I do it curly and straight but my hair is wavy originally.

1.First step wash hair and towel dry

    2. if your hair is starting to frizz up as it dries add some more water to it

    3. Comb hair make sure you have no tangles in it

3.Use hair gel I find dippty do gel works best and it is very inexpensive http://www.medshopexpress.com/065505.htm鈥?/a>

4.Start putting gel all over your hair and comb through the gel so it gets every single strand of hair you need to use allot of gel since you have long thick hair and keep combing through it

5, Add hair spray on your head.

    6. Clip your hair up and leave it for a min of 20 mins. During this time do your make up...eyebrows nails ect.....

7.Blow dryer..... get your blow dryer but make sure you have the diffuser as well that will be the next step and un clip hair blow dry your hair at low heat with the nozzle on. and just wave the blow dryer over the roots of your hair. just to get the top of your head dry That way it dryers faster.

    8. Attach the Diffuser to blow dryer and flip your head forward and start Diffusing your hair letting the diffuser grab parts of your hair and use it in a circular motion do this on your whole head till dry. http://www.folica.com/Diffusers__187_1.h鈥?/a>

    9. Final step add a Little more hair spray and you are ready to go

I know you mentioned you don't like using a curling iron on your own head but you can go over some of the front if you have bangs or shorter layers at the front. it will give it a bit more volume and really cute curlys
Try using a flat iron. Start at the root and drag the flat iron at an angle...Like you would if you wanted to flip out the ends of short hair. It kind of works like when you curl ribbon.

Try that and see if it works.
You can use soft curlers in your hair. I use them and them look cute. You can even sleep with them. Another way is to wash your hair right before you go to bed and then put it into a braid or two. Then take them out the next morning.

    Some hair questions...?

so i have naturally straight hair and its about 7 inches below my shoulder. i just got a haircut and it has layers . also I dyed it blonde. but its naturally blonde, I just wanted it to stay blonde because in the winter it gets darker. anyways I was wondering how I could get waves? scrunching it and putting in mousse doesnt help at all. I use Big Sexy Hair Root Plump Plus just for volume but it doesnt help with obtaining any waves. It was pretty damaged from dyeing it, but I got all of my split ends cut off. so it's fine now. but I was wondering how to get waves? I dont want to curl it everyday because that would just damage it and it would take way too long because I don't have alot of time in the morning. should I get a perm?

Also, what hair masks or repairing creams do you recommend? are Paul Mitchell's products worth buying? what can I do to my hair to reduce the damage as much as possible so I can still put it hot-rollers if I need to or straighten it on a bad hair day or if I get highlights, etc. Some hair questions...?
garnier fructis has realy great shampoos and conditioners for color treated hair and they are cheaper that paul mitchel i love thier products i dye my hair all the time. to make my hair i sometimes put mouse in my hair when its wet (at night) then make like 15 - 20 braids but the humidity here sucks so it dosnt last all daySome hair questions...?
paul mitchell's products are worth buying, they help the environment:) and you can take a shower at night and put it in loose braids, then in the morning take them out, shake your head and get a spray wax/texturizer. spray that all over. shake your head again. DO NOT brush your hair, this causes bush-eness.

this can help reduce damage because if you sleep with the braids in, then you dont use heat on your hair. which is good. Dont get a perm, that will be even more damaging. and i thought you said you dyed your hair blonde, why would get highlights on top of that?

    **hope i helped(:
you can get wats called a loose perm it will be scrunchable or just wavy with out it being super puffy

    good luck :)

    mine?

    http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?鈥?/a>
YOu cannot get a perm because u hilighted your hair, if it was a semi perm color that would be ok a( acid wave) perm, but of u got hilites w/ bleach just 4get about it. Try wet set at night( set hair in perm rods w/ gel or mousse and let air dry lasts about 4 days.

Paul mitchell is fine, but if you are looking for xtra conditioning try cera-repair in salon hair treatment that last 6 weeks and makes your hair feel like new cost about 20 in the salon. If you can't do that try a anti frizz serum before falt ironing. Aquage working spray works wonders when trying to curl or straighten resistant hair w/ iron or hot rollers

Beachy sexy wavy hair how to?

ok so i have shoulder length hair with lots of layers and sideswept bangs. I'm trying to change up how is style my hair because im sick of straight. How can i get the beachy wavy hair like either victoriassecret models or just celebrities like jessica alba. I have 2 curling irons. a 1 1/2 inch barrel and a 1 inch barrel. I also have hot rollers. Please help.Beachy sexy wavy hair how to?
Instead of curling irons (damages hair) try raking a shower before bed then braiding your hair (1-2 braids) and go to sleep. DON'T BLOW DRY BEFORE BRAIDING! Just go to sleep with it wet. It will dry on its on overnight and be curly from the braids and extra wavy from it trying like that. Then Try not to brush it only tease it with a comb to make it how you like it. Then a bit of hairspray, and maybe a minute with a blowdryer for a blowed look in the morning. Light makeup, a tan, and short skirts/shorts and tank tops are beachy. flip flops are also beachy. :DBeachy sexy wavy hair how to?
Well I can't help you with that, as my hair is actually wavier than that in real life.

However, I, too, have shoulder-length hair with lots of layers. Something I like to do with mine to change it up is flicking out the ends. Just straighten and near the end rotate the straightener 45 to 90 degrees.
    watch this

doesnt get any easier then that!
At night when your hair is wet, tie it into two or four big braids and let it dry over night, when you wake up take them out and you`ll have wavy hair! Hope This Helped!

    Perm questions?

Hi everyone... my hair is about 4 inches below my shoulders at the moment and heavily layered. It's always been very straightish but I need to use a straightening iron to get that sleek straight look if you know what I mean and if I curl it with a curling iron or hot rollers, the curls just drop out in a few hours. Anyway... I am seriously thinking about getting a perm and just going for some loose waves/curls and then maybe using an iron or hot rollers when I want a more defined curl.

Has anyone had any experience with hair that length? How long does it take, cost etc? And what is the upkeep like? Will I need to roll it to have a style or can I just let it dry into a curl/wave?

Oh and is there a type of perm you'd recommend?

    Any feedback would be great.

well my mom has been a great hair dresser 4 about 25 years and said that........the perm its self takes couple hours.......you CAN'T brush it you MUST pick it out or else you perm start to kinda fall out.....style when its wet........leave a little conditioner on the ends.....use some product when styling.......no you don't have to style......talk to your hair dresser about $ it varies w/ place and experience........for the type if perm i would also talk to your hair dresser maybe look at the curlers to see what size they are and what size you would want in your hair.......any good hair dresser should be able to advise you on what type of perm to get......don't ask them to pick for you because allot of times they don't know what you want unless you tell them

    Tips:

Come in w/ a pic of what you might want it to look like(don't expect it to be exactly the same)

Go to different salons and price the perms

Ask them if they have before and after shots of things that they have done

Ask you friends if they know of any good hair dressers

    Good luckPerm questions?
    Dunno I'm a boy.
I've had my hair permed twice and I loved it. But if your hair doesn't hold a curl at all, I wouldn't recommend getting just a wave or loose curl. Your hair might not take to it, and then you'll end up paying more money to fix it. Either go tighter or just keep your straight curls. Another really cool trick is if you get a really good gel and hairspray. When you get out of the shower, flip your head upside down, and start scrunching your hair with some gel. Keep scrunching until you get it as curly as you want it. Then hair spray it and let it dry. It's cute if you do it right, but make sure you use a good moisturizer on your hair because this really dries your hair out if you don't
My hair is that long as well. I wouldn't get a perm I have naturally curly hair that I usually straighten. But what I have found that works is Aussie FREEZE spray. It's amazing. I'll give a small quick little spray then roll or curl my hair be sure to let it completely cool down that is the trick. Then I let the curlers out and leave them tightly spiraled. Spray them again. Let it dry then shake out my whole head at the same time. I also use 3 sets of curler at one time. Longer hair takes up more room on one curler so you have to do smaller sections. Get what I'm saying. Good luck.
Once you perm it you decide how maintain the styles, but truthfully you will only have to curl your hair like 3 times a week. For a first perom try botonicals, no lye- it's an herbal relaxer and soft on the hair.
i was like u a month ago..exactly in the same situation..but i did got a perm..and i awfully love it....it might take u longer to get the chemical into the hair...also, consider ur face shape..sometimes the perm make u look older and less pretty
wtf r u thinkin do not evwn try dat **** no nah yo dun play wit perm if ya hair iz staright already ya hair iz jus gunna drop out n i should noe n n e waii if u want ya hair 2 luk all nice n shiny n in curls then over night put curlers in n spray on da kinda spray dat keeps da hair in place n keeps it in its hair style n if u want a nice shine i recommend olive oil spray dat iz very gudd

    Micro braids & Curls?

Hello, I plan to wear micro braids for my wedding. However, I want curls. How do I do that? Should I buy a set of hot rollers. because I am getting married in vegas so I need something quick and convient. What is the best method to curl micro braids? is it curling with a curling iron? Or roller set the hair with foaming lotion and sit under dryer? Or use hot rollers? I have been trying to find pics of this, but it is hard. Let me know your thoughts!!Micro braids %26amp; Curls?
NO HOT ROLLERS!!! Not unless you want your microbraids to MELT and look a mess!!! The foaming lotion isn't going to work either, but here's what will. First get yourself some sponge (that's right, the one's your grandma used to have) rollers. Set the microbraids on the sponge rollers and then spray them with hot/warm water (a hot shower works too). Then spray with a holding spray. Blow dry and take the rollers out. Voilaaaaa!!! Curls!!! Or, you could just get your hair microbraided with the already curly hair. If you go to a beauty supply store they should have lots of spiral and kinky curls.Micro braids %26amp; Curls?
When you use a quality micro braid hair it does not melt! this is boloney! You can roll them with hot rollers!

get the small flexi rods. the red ones will do. probably 2 packs. get them at a beauty supply store. wet sections of your braids. put the rods on the small sections. let fully dry. you don't have to sit under a dryer. do it the night before or at least in the morning. do not load your hair with water. use a spray bottle and spray on a enough to moisten them.

when putting in the flexi rods. put your ends around the rod. roll down. when you get to the scalp (or wherever you want the curl to start) fold the ends down the opposite way you rolled. if you roll going back fold the ends down to the front. when you take the rods out start unrolling then halfway down, then start pulling them out slowly so that they spiral.

your hair has to be fully dry when you take them down or it will be a bust. hope it turns out good. happy nuptuals.
For S curls. Braid your braids in bigger braids.( about 12 for you whole head). Then make knots at the end of each braid. Then boil some very hot water. Then put as much of the braids in hot water for about 30 seconds each untill you do all the 12 or more braids. Make sure you don't burn yourself! Towel it dry, and let them natually dry or use a dryer. When it's dry, undo the big braids that you did and...you're done. Beautiful S curls.

This process is NOT reversable. Your micro braids will stay curled until you take them out.

I've been doing that for years! Works every time!

Limited budget wedding in 2 months, can it be done?

My husband and I are going on a cruise in March. We'll be going to Key West and the Bahamas. We've decided to renew our vows in Key West since we never got a real ceremony. I'm going to do white flop flops. I also plan on getting a mani-pedi before I go. So that will be included in the budget. My total budget on the wedding is no more than $700.

We've already found a place that will do it for $200. We'll only have about 5-10 guests. I'm not doing the bridesmaids thing either. I want it as simple as possible. Although I want one thing... a wedding gown.

My husband will be wearing his dress blues. My budget for the gown is $100. I'm trying to get out of doing alterations if possible. I need it by March 5th at the latest. I'm also very petite. I wear a size zero and I'm only 5'1';. I'd like a strapless or halter gown. Little or no train, since it will be on the beach. I found the perfect gown at David's Bridal, but sadly it wouldn't be in on time. I like the dresses with little bits of color. But, it's not a must. If I do get something with color, the ones I like are red, light blue, or light pink.

Some of the minor things I need/want; a 40's style hairstyle. Kind of like Uma Thurman in The Producers or Rachel McAdams in the Notebook. If that doesn't work I would do one of these 2 styles:

    http://img152.imageshack.us/my.php?image鈥?/a>

    http://img101.imageshack.us/my.php?image鈥?/a>

A little problem with this is if there isn't a salon on the ship I'll have to do it myself. I'm not to skilled with a curling iron, will curlers or hot rollers work? My hair doesn't hold curl very well, so I'll probably end up doing it about an hour before we leave. Our ship arrives in Key West at 7am and the wedding place opens at 9, giving me a 2-hour gap to figure it all out.

I really would like a veil. If I have my hair like that, I'm not sure where to position the veil. I'm making the veil myself to save money. I bought this really pretty but inexpensive hair clip at claires. It has little crystal things on it. I'm going to buy some tule at a fabric store and hot glue it to the hair clip. I looked up how to do it online. It looks really easy.

One of the other big things I would like to have, but isn't necessary, is a bouquet. I'm hoping there will be a flower shop either on the ship or in town. I'd like a mix of red roses and stargazer lilies. This is a perfect mix of flowers.

    http://img101.imageshack.us/my.php?image鈥?/a>

The only thing I would do different with that is instead of having the ribbon in a bow, I'd just wrap it around the stems with a red or pink ribbon. I'm already prepared to spend alot on flowers. I know they can be expensive. I might stop at $100 though.

If you guys have any suggestions, tips or pictures I could really use the help, Thanks!Limited budget wedding in 2 months, can it be done?

You shouldn't have a problem - and there is a salon on just about every cruise ship so I wouldn't worry about that either. Allow $100. for the updo - the ship salon's are pricey. Flowers you should be able to find easily enough - bring the bouquet along with you and ask that it be kept in a fridge if that's at all possible - you can also make your own out of silk flowers if you want. The dress sounds like your biggest challenge - check out the prom section of department stores also - this time of year those start getting stocked pretty well and I've seen lots of white dresses in the past.
I will worn you, it gets hot and humid in the keys, yes, even in March. So, if you plan on curling your hair, wash your hair with curling shampoos, use curl activator products and use a mouse before your curl your hair. Then when you're done, spray it with hair spray, I know that sounds like a lot, but its needed.
First CONGRATS. Now with the dress I found my dress at a small hip clothing store. They are known for their tees and male pants. They however have a side rack with very nice CHEAP party dresses. I found my wedding dress for $75. When I told the cashier what it was for she gave me her discount and I got it for $50. Now is the time to look at resale shops, consignment shops, even places like JC Penny. They have a lot of dresses from Christmas that they are getting rid of. Quite a few white ones at that.

With the hair you stated you will have some guest with you. Why not ask another female to help with your hair. Then they will also feel like they got to take part in the wedding. Just make sure that you have your necessities with you on a carry on bag. My boss just went on a cruise and they check your bags at the dock. She did not have her bag till after 2 pm. This may be something to look into. Make sure you have everything you need.

    Good luck.
    A few suggestions:

Go to a dollar store and scan every aisle for things from bobby pins, to oasis for flowers. You never know what you find there!

Get a duffle bag ready with hairspray, brush, makeup, etc.

Get a clip on hair (usually $30) and this way, just design the front of your hair with some ringlets and put the rest in a small bun and clip the fake hair on top... no frizz this way...

OR... look up hairstyle instructions and makeup instructions on youtube

The hairstyle with hillary duff is pretty easy if you just get foam rollers and put on in small sections and leave them on for as long as possible, do half your makeup then take them off and slowly.

For bouquet, get a bouquet oasis ($15), wrap a ribbon on it, buy 12 roses. Leave the oasis in water for a while, then cut the roses to a short length and pluck them in. Make his bout with floral tape or wire and the roses. Or just buy 12 roses and some floral tape and ribbon and start with three roses, wrap with a bit of floral tape, and fill in one more on each side, more floral tape and so on.. leave one rose for his bout. If you're going with lilies, then maybe the oasis would be better to keep the flowers hydrated.

    Good luck
go to davids bridal they have a $99 sale right now. or even head to a department store like jc penny and look at their prom and formal dresses. and for the bouquet there probably is a street floral vendor around there or just pick some flowers who cares if it comes from someones garden lol or you could make a bouquet out of silk flowers before you head off. about the hair maybe one of the guest going with you could help you out. good luck and hope you have fun!
yes you could totally do that for $700. the second hair style is so elegant and simple but pretty. the flowers are beautiful. you could try looking on ebay for your dress, there are usually lots of choices and colors. you might even be able to find some of those flip flops with the pretty jewels on them, they would be a little more fancy and fun.

How can I use this product on my hair (picture included)?

I recently asked a question on how you think I should style my hair. I have bought an award winning product called L'OREAL PROFESSIONNEL TECNI ART HOT STYLE CONSTRUCTOR.

    Here is a description for those unfamiliar with it;

This texturising spray styles and fixes your hair, without leaving it heavy or sticky. L'Oreal Professionnel Tecni Art Hot Style Constructor provides natural hold and is suitable for all hair types.

L'Oreal Professionnel Tecni Art Hot Style Constructor can be reapplied endlessly and its Thermo-active Construction enables its styling properties to become extreme under heat. Hot Style products are hyper-activated by heat. This range is the choice of the session stylist combining art and technology to create the latest looks for that hot night out.

    Directions of use:

    * Construct a section on your damp or dry hair.

    * Apply Hot Style Constructor throughout your hair.

    * Model with the fingers to create the desired look.

    * Leave to dry naturally or with heat (hair dryers, straightening irons, curling tongs or heated rollers) depending on the look.

How do you think I should use this product to style my hair? I understand this is quite a long question, I will try every sensible style people suggest and whoevers I like the most, will get the best answer.

    Here is my picture:

    http://img20.imageshack.us/i/hairw.jpg/

Thanks a lot!How can I use this product on my hair (picture included)?
You have a guy's regular taper cut. Usually it is styled by drying with a towel or hair dryer till it is almost dry. Parting and combing or brushing it to the side and either with the bangs partly on the forehead or completely off the forehead and then letting it air dry completely. Once dry, a few quick short light pumps of a mega hold spritz to the hair at the front and maybe on top and a guy is good to go.

To use that product on your style, Apply it to the longer hair on top and at the front. Scrunch or ';model with the fingers'; or do whatever you want to make the hair look wavy or curly or whatever look you are going for. Then let the hair dry naturally or dry with a dryer fitted with a heat diffuser to set the style without blowing it out. A mousse might be a better product for adding wave/curls to your style.

Good Luck! How can I use this product on my hair (picture included)?
Maybe spike your hair a little to make it look texturised and then blast it with the hairdryer to hold the style in for longer and add the heat the product says it needs to last longer.

I am not too good with short hair styles, but I hope I helped :-)
To be honest that kinda product isn't really suitable you need something like Bed Head Manipulator or Bed Head Hard Head..but the 1st would be better.

I would rub it in your palms and rough up the front to give you a hot messed up look or you could smooth down the sides as well as roughing up the top.

With the product you've bought it's not going to do much to be honest except weigh it down and make it look more flat.

Good luck with whatever you decide.

How do you style hair like Lauren Conrad (LC) did here?

    Here's the link:

    http://www.instyle.com/instyle/dailybeautyflash/photos/0,,20445838,00.html

Any ideas on how to re-create this ';flawless'; hairstyle with her curls?

Was it done using a curling iron or hot rollers??How do you style hair like Lauren Conrad (LC) did here?
likely it was done with a round brush and hair dryer. You could also do something similar with rollers. roll them all downward from the crown while wet, spray with a light hold hair spray, and let dry. Run your fingers through the curls with a tiny bit of biosilk on your hands...

this style was done by a professional. don't expect it to look exactly like this. How do you style hair like Lauren Conrad (LC) did here?
    probably both
by the defenition, curling iron. probably a two inch barrel. hairspray the strands before you curl them.
A 1 1/2'; barrel curling iron can be used to create a similar effect. The smaller the barrel the tighter the curl. This works best with longer hair.
you do know those are extensions right? and it could be done with a medium or wide curling iron and then combed/brushed out so they are not too tight or together
I would comb out your hair straight, then use 2 inch rollers and blow dry it and release them and put it down for the same cute look.

controling the heat is the secret to the look, so don't over heat it.

    New styling ideas.....?

Okay, so I'm trying to come up with new styles to try on my hair, please give me some ideas!

    What you need to know:

    1. I have long (right under the chest length) highlighted hair that is thick, but still fine.

    2. I pretty much just do three/four things right now: messy ponytail, blowdry straight, triple-barrel curls, hot roller curls

    3. I'm really looking for ideas to put my hair up, but I usually don't like how that looksNew styling ideas.....?
try doing this (the one on the left):

hia whatever you feel comfatable in is what you need to worry about ok your hair i mean.
    Hi!

You should add some volume for sure, as it is thick! You won't recognize your hair!

But, as you have tried curls,I cannot suggest that. Why don't you try to cut it a bit and then add volume? Also, you can make them look like this picture:http://evdomada.files.wordpress.com/2007鈥?/a>

Or, if you don't like all this bulk on your head, try to add volume like Amy Winehouse, but not exactly her hairlook.I didn't manage to find any photos, sorry! :-(

Highlated hair would look perfect! But you could either change their colour (I have seen some mauve that look really cool!) or dye them completely. And add as many hairclips, braces or whatever you like to decorate your hair and have always a ';crazy'; hairstyle!

Good luck whatever you decide and I hope that irrespective of choice, you will get the result that you crave! ;)

How can I get teh curls to hold with no hairspray?

I am using hot rollers to make my hair wavy for a banquet, and I want some way to get the hair to stay. I ran out of hairspray, and I cannot get more. Nor do I have any other products. Any suggestions on what to do? Anything I can make easily at home?

Thanks a lotHow can I get teh curls to hold with no hairspray?
Use glue. No joke. Put it in your hair when it is wet and curl with an iron. My friend uses glue in her hair a lot he time. They make special glue for hair, but she uses Elmer's when she runs out. It holds longer than hairspray, but it is kinda hard to wash out.How can I get teh curls to hold with no hairspray?
Rub some gel .....hold .....mousse or lotion....wetting works in a pinch
sugar water. seriously, it sounds weird but it works like a charm. my sister has baby fine hair and we could never get her hair to stay without saturating it with hairspray which made it look hard and feel ';crispy'; my grandma has used sugar water since she was little and so we tried it to and now we keep a bottle around the house all the time and give it a shake before we use it. I don't know the exact recipe but i'm sure you could google it. we usually fill a spray bottle up and put about 1/4 cup in it. but we use it alot. not too helpful, but i promise it works.
well.. i WOULD NEVER use glue on my hair, personally.

    ...ever.

i probably woulden't use lotion either. it would be greasy.

if you don't have hairspray i coulden't tell you what to do, but i wouldent suggest lotion or glue :S.
    LOtion for suree
rub lotion in your hands and run your fingers through your hair then blowdry. works everytimeee :)
put peanut butter in ur hair that should hold the curls jk maybe lotion idk srry

    crunchy pb works the best
put hot curlers in....... if you have them!

  • Ways to make loose curls?

I want to make loose curls in my hair. I have tried with a curling iron and hot rollers, but it never turns out how I want it to. I have really healthy hair. It's about 5 inches under my shoulders, so pretty long, with side bangs. I want it to look like this:

    http://i339.photobucket.com/albums/n473/鈥?/a>Ways to make loose curls?
well i guess you could get a straightener and try to curl your hair with that. you can go on youtube and type in ';how to curl your hair with a hair straightener.'; I have tried it before and it really works. I actually try to make it tight curls but it always ends up to be loose curls..:P o well.

Hope I helped! :)Ways to make loose curls?
Use a big barrel curling iron. Keep the clamp down on the ends of your hair, and twist it up, with hair from the base of the curling iron to the tip of the barrel. You should curl your hair from tip to about half way up your head. Repeat with another 1-3 inch peice of hair, depending on how many curls you want. Once you are done, shake out your hair, and then run your fingers through it a couple times.
Use a flat iron, and rotate it inwards on the left side of your hair, and outwards on the right side. Then brush it all.
Straighten ur hair, then spray or get a perm
straighten your hair so its prett straight just not all the way(it makes it look weirdish at the ends) then put it in braids and lightly sray with hairspray and leave it in for a while and brush it when you take it out. hope this helps. i love how it makes my hair looka dn i have long layers hair and it looks like this after braiding it in two side braids. %26lt;3
Okay..For this style and the other really awesome looking and pretty hairstyles that you see around now, use either plastic or Velcro rollers. Also, its better for your hair, the style lasts longer and you can style it in different ways. This yahoo group has tons of pictures of the latest hairstyles. It takes a little patience because there are so many pictures to view. It might be of help. The link to click on is below.

How can I turn frizzy, wavy hair into soft curly hair?

My hair is naturally wavy, frizzy, shoulder length. I can straighten it with a flat iron but would like to learn how to make it look nicer wavy/curly. If I shower at night and sleep with it wet, it is curlier but also crazier. If I put gel in it to hold the curls, it will stay more or less, but I would like to get a softer look. If I wash it in the morning, pile it on my head, and let it air dry with some anti-frizz serum or curling cream, it looks softer, but the waves/curls fall out by the end of the day, and it just looks big. If I use a curling iron, the curls don't last, and even my natural wave falls out. I tried hot rollers, and I ended up looking like a maniac with little curls next to my head instead of spiraling down. I tried to spiral the hair onto the rollers, but no luck. I haven't tried a diffuser in a long time but don't remember it leaving my hair much different from air-drying. I thought about buying a hot brush, but it looks like that's more for straightening.Thx!How can I turn frizzy, wavy hair into soft curly hair?
listen what you want to do when you take a shower and wash you hair do not use a lot of shampoo and same thing for condemner when you get out take your hands and mash it and blowdrie you hair and it well be curly and if you don't have a bf you will thats how i got oneHow can I turn frizzy, wavy hair into soft curly hair?
Okay i have straight hair but even this works. Herbal Escense is genius! They have this mousse called curl construct. You squirt it out of the can and work it through your hair when its wet and use the scrunching teqnique (it looks exactly as it sounds). It doesn't make your hair stickey or hard or frizzy. When it dries Your curls will have a super bounce and a healthy shine! wow i sound just like a commercial...
Use Garnier Fructis Smoothing Milk it always gets the frizz out and after you style your hair spray John Frieda's Frizz Ease it it makes your hair totally shiny and keeps flyaways down.

How do I make my Hair look Like Taylor Swifts?

Ok, I know a lot of people think Taylor's hair isn't natural. It is. The reason you see her stylist curling it is she has sort of puffy curls, so they straighten then curl it, either way you'll see her natural puffy sort of thing on one of her first albums the one with the blue background and she's just looking into the camera, and most of the album consists of her around a lake or pond in a white sun dress, the album with our song and a place in this world and stuff. any way, I have hair that goes down to the middle of my back and its thick and naturally straight, so does anyone know how to make it look like Taylor's? Please answer like soon, by like today.... I would appreciate it! Please be specific and just a note I do not have hot sticks or hot rollers so stick to velcro rollers, not velcro rollers and 1'; curling irons. My styling products are Curls Rock by Bedhead for sort of geling and Pantene extra hold hairspray and A salon brand extra hold spray, and some hair gel. PLEASE RESPOND ASAP!!How do I make my Hair look Like Taylor Swifts?
Use a volumizing shampoo and follow with a conditioner you like.

Spray a root lifter on roots and use a volumizing mouse, styling spray or gel if you like.

    Blow-dry smoothing the cuticle

Mist with a thermal active spray

Starting at the nape, clip hair up dropping 1鈥?horizontal sections down at a time. Using a 1鈥?or 1 1/4鈥?barrel curling iron, wrap hair around barrel starting close to the scalp in a spiral motion leaving ends out to curl last. This will allow the hair to be curled evenly throughout its entire length.

Gently drop without pulling out the curl.

Mist curls lightly with finishing spray before dropping down next section to be curled.

Drop down sections repeating above till done.

Your ends shouldn鈥檛 be frizzy if you make sure to get them cleanly covered with your curling iron. But a light smoothing serum used by rubbing it into your palms and coaxing the ends down with your fingers will also do the trick.

This is what I normally do and my hair looks like hers....except my hair is a tad bit shorter, but considering your hair you will look gorgeous :DHow do I make my Hair look Like Taylor Swifts?
well you can perm it,use hot rollers, and curling it with a straightener or a curling iron.
well u can get like 1' in curling iron and do it all over

or put in small rollers b4 u go to bed

or u can get a perm like that ( the easiet was but u have to really like it and keep it for a long time)
I do not suggest getting a perm because they really don't look to goo..use your curling Iron..It works best if you have a spiral curling iron though and just go through your whole head with that
i don't have any specific ways to do it,

    but just simply curl it.

make sure you get the top too though.

and the hair closest to your face, curl it away from your face.

and make your bangs flow into your hair.

dont use the gel, just some hair spray, but not too much.

    i hope this helped :]

Answer and you will be my hero!?

I am a 15 year old girl with thick dirty blonde hair. Every day I wear it the same way: I straighten it with my Chi Flat Iron, and wear it down. Naturally my hair is thick and weird wavy-curly. I have long layers and sideswept bangs.

    1. How do I get beach waves?

    2. How can I make my natural wavy-curly hair look good?

    3. How can I curl hair with a diffuser, my Chi, or hot rollers?

    4. Where can I find cute headbands?

    5. How do I do a messy bun?

    6. What are some other easy ways to do my hair? casual style

    7. How do I french braid?

    8. What products will work well for me?

    9. What would be a good haircut for me- oval face, blue eyes?

Thanks, I know that is a lot of questions, but I need help! You can answer one or a couple or all, your choice! Best answer will recieve 10 points!Answer and you will be my hero!?
    1. try a volume/curling spray, twist hair when its wet into a bun and let dry if its long or you can scrunch it or curl with a 1-2 inch (depending on length) curling iron and separate he curls

    2. try different styles. spend those days,u know, the ones when ur home doing nothing, trying new styles. when u get done w/ one wash ur hair and do another. dont be afraid to try something uve never thought of.

    3. diffuser-blow dry on low w/o using a comb or brush; i dont have a chi so i cant help there; hot rollers are easy! just heat them, roll 1-2 inch sections of hair, set for 30 min and take out and run fingers through it (if u use a brush it will frizz)

    4. headbands-walmart, target, flea markets, pretty much any teen clothing store in the mall, any teen store period

    5. i've only succeeded at a messy bun once. i think its one of those things where u know it or dont. sorry, no advice. maybe get a friend to do one on u and maybe u can figure it out?

    6. dry with a diffuser and pull it half back w/ a clip, hairband, bobbypins, ribbons. with wavy hair its easy to take one style and do it many different ways and wear the same style to school, practice, dates, and even church. it all depends on the accessories.

    7. start with 3 pieces and braid the 1st 2 strands like a normal braid and each strand after that pick up a piece of hair from what is loose

    8. volumizing sprays (dont use gels, it weighs ur already heavy hair down and makes it flat), bed head products are really good.

    9. exactly the way you have it. long layers dont make it look poofy and even if it gets frizzy its not as noticible. in my opinion, the longer the better. no layers above the shoulder though.Answer and you will be my hero!?
I have curly hair too and i flat iron it. I can only answer a couple.

    1. I get my beach waves...after i go in the pool i just dry off my hair with my towel and let it fall into place.

    6. You can do your hair with ur bangs but back kinda like a bump on top of your head and u can do that with curly or straight hair it looks good either way. Kinda like what fergie does.
Holy crap, woman. Okay, if you have thick hair, this shouldnt be that hard. Most of the time, you can use your flat iron to make the waves by using it like a curling iron, or using warm salt water sprayed onto your hair. Let your hair be free! Let it take it's own beautiful shape and be what it was meant to be! Okay, well I basically told you the third one... Umm, you can get cool headbands from Hot Topic, Clare's, or American Eagle's got some cute ones. Messy buns are like ponytails, you do the same thing, but you don't pull the ponytail all the way through!!! Casual? Like I said let your hair do it's job. French braiding is basically taking four strands instead of three and braiding. Very hard! Keep using ur Chi.. I love that brand. You can also use like a deep conditioner to make your hair softer. A good haircut for you would to be to keep your hair at least three inches below your shoulders. Also, layering your hair may make it a little thicker, but it'll make it healthier and you will also make it look awesome with the waves, the straight hair, and the messy bun!!!!
    1. after you get out of the shower put gel in your hair

    2. mousse

    3. hot rollers or a curling iron

    4. claires, bealls, walmart

    5. grab your hair and put in in a pony tail. then you can twist it to the left. then twist it ';up'; this time and make a ';ball'; with it (on your head of course). make sure its loose.

    6. french braid, baided pigtails, curls...

    7. you braid your hair regularly and while you braid it, grab other peices of hair from the sides and include it with the other peices.

    8. idk. sunsilk works awesome for me.

    9. layers with side bangs.
OK, SO I CAN HELP YOU MAKE YOUR CURLES LOOK GREAT. MY HAIR USED TO BE SO STRAIGHT WHEN I WAS LITTLE, COMPLETELY THIN, AND WOULD NOT HOLD CURL. WELL, ABOUT TIME I TURNNED 13 THAT ALL CHANGED. IT'S SO WEIRD, MY MOM'S CURLY HAIR FINALLY KICKED IN. SO, I HAD TO GO FROM STRAIGHT TO THICK AND CURLY. THE TRANSITION WAS WIERD BUT I LEARNED TO DEAL W/ IT AND OVER THE PAST 4 YEARS I'VE MASTERED IT. OK, SO I USE GARNIER CURL AND SHINE SHAMPOO AND CONDITIONER. ONCE I GET OUT OF THE SHOWER I LEAVE IT IN THE TOWEL FOR AT LEAST 3 MINUTES TO GET RID OF EXCESS WATER. THEN I PULL IT BACK W/ A SCRUNCHIE AND BLOW DRY MY BANGS, B/C THEY HAVE TO HAVE SPECIAL ATTENTION. AFTER THAT I LET IT OUT OF THE SCRUNCHIE AND USE MOUSSE. I'VE TRIED ALMOST EVERY KIND AND I RECENTLY TRIED AUSSIE. IT SMELLS GREAT AND WORKS GOOD TOO. SO I PUT A HANDFUL IN MY PALMS AND RUB IT TOGETHER TO GET RID OF THE FOAM AND RUN MY FINGERS THROUGH MY HAIR. I REPEAT THIS OVER ALL SECTIONS UNTILL THERE'S NO POSSIBLE WAY FOR FRIZZ. THEN, DO NOT BLOW DRY IT!!! THIS ALWAYS MAKES MINE FRIZZ. IF U USE ENOUGH MOUSSE IT WON'T FRIZZ, SO LET IT AIR DRY. IF U GO TO BED ON IT, U WAKE UP AND IT'S A MESS!! SO I SPRAY MINE VERY WET W/ A SQUIET BOTTLE OF WATER AND COMB IT OUT AND SEPERATE IT W/ MY FINGERS. IF UR HAIR'S SUPER CURLY IT WILL BOUNCE BACK UP. WET IT, GET IT DAMP, ALMOST LIKE OUTTA THE SHOWER, AND THEN USE THE MOUSSE THE SAME WAY U DID THE NIGHT B4. I'VE TRIED TONS OF THINGS W/ MY CURLS AND THIS HAS WORKED THE BEST. REMEMBER, DON'T BLOW DRY. ONLY YOUR BANGS. HOPE THIS HELPS.

    Get curls to stay in!?

I have very long very straight hair, I will curl it with velcro rollers, pillow curlers, hot rollers, and perm rods for different curly styles, ringlets, wavy, volume, barrel curls. My hair will look perfect for about 20 mins and then go back to straight instantly! I put hairspray, and everything in! How do you get curls to stay in all night?Get curls to stay in!?
my hair is the same as yours..its about 3 inches away from my butt, straight and wont keep a curl. The best that I have found is Caruso Curlers. It last several hours which is a miracle within itself with my hair.

there is this stuff that black people use it is in a clear spray bottle with a pink wrapper...i forget the name but it says it curls...put it on ur hair then use the curling iron it works for my friend who has real straight hair i think u can get it at walmart?
    hairspray + curling iron...

using one of those big, heavy-duty hair spray cans, take the strand you want to curl and spray it down until its damp but not soaking.

wrap it up into your hot curling iron, it should sizzle a little but not crazy like. you know you are doing it right when your hair is stiff and crunchy. if its not crunchy, it wont stay for very long and go flat.
mabye you have to much weight on your hair, get it thinned out and it might stay curly longer
all my friends do cuz i already have curly hair my friends they will curl their hair and the use a curling iron and curl it but keep your hair on the curling iron and put hairspray all over that piece and it should stay if not then i dont know
