only mine are lot more than that. i want to put rollers in them and have them curly but if i do that then how do i heat it up? i can't BLOW DRY, cus that won't work. i can't STEAM IT cus that won't work so the only thing i can do is like dip my head in a bucket of hot water so the curls will hold. i need to put curlers in it like this:

so can anyone help...PLEASE!!!

and don't suggest hot curlers cus i tried that.Curly single braids?
I'm not sure if it will work on such thick braids, but if you use those curlers, you need to:

1) thoroughly wet your hair (like when washing)

2) towel dry as much as possible

3) possible put some gel in it so i will hold the curl better

4) put in curlers -- pulling a little as you wind

5) let dry thoroughly, by leaving them in as long as possible, definitely overnight (maybe longer)

6) when removing the curlers, if you get the curl then put a little more gel in your hair to help keep the curls

Have you tried curling irons? I'm not sure if that would help on such thick braids either, but you could try that.
