Sad to say, we always want our hair to be the opposite of what it is! My advice is to work with your hair the way it is. Find a very good haircutter--you'll need one if you have thick straight hair! Find out what your hair likes to do and go with it. You probably will never be able to get your hair to scrunch up curly!

But take comfort in the fact that those of us with fine, wavy hair wish ours were like yours! My hair is VERY thick and layered, how can i make it curly??? whenever i try 2 curl it never works.....?
if it dosn't hold then it wasn't made for your hair type...
Air dry or dry with a diffuser and never comb or brush it. Just condition well and run your fingers through it and you'll have less frizzy or flyaways.
try to use theramsilk gel
Thats easy just get a specail shampoo and get a curling iron
Well i have really tick hair too..but i just let it dry naturally..after i wash it i dont brush it and i put moose in it and it curls like your talking about and satys most of the time..but if it doesnt work by using a diffuser or anythign it wasnt meant for you
GET HAIRAPY! lol

use thermasilk and buy a curling iron!! and then use like gel so you like get the gooood look! idk.. hope it work =]
go to a salon and get a shampoo and roller set and ask the stylist about the best type of rollers and setting lotion to use to help you create long lasting curls
