How do I curl my long hair and make it last!? (pics)?

I want my hair to look like marilyn monroe style but longer (since my hair is the middle of back. I have a couple pics of my inspirations...

If you look at my pic you can see my hair is STRAIGHT, when I curl it with the curling iron the curls fall out. I need a good hairspray and I dont mind paying a little extra if it works! Also how do i use the hot rollers?How do I curl my long hair and make it last!? (pics)?
Yeah, with the hairspray it should be fine. Well, I wouldn't really know because my hair is naturally curly, so yeahh:)

But I can answer about the rollers. You just put them in this tray they come with/in. There is a button on it and you press it and it heats up the rollers, so then you take them when they're hot and roll them like regular rollers. 'Cept these ones work better cause they use heat.How do I curl my long hair and make it last!? (pics)?
